Station Farm Holiday Cottage is ideally suited for those wanting a relaxing holiday or active holiday alike in the lovely village of Wennington.  There are bustling towns, and pretty villages all within easy reach and some fantastic sightseeing routes.  Wennington is close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Lake District National Park, The forest of Bowland and the Trough of Bowland.

Activities for the Active

Mountain Biking, there are loads of great bridleways all around the area check out the Yorkshire Dales guide trail centres in Gisburn Forest and Grisedale Forest (lake district)

Road Cycling - There is a massive network of quiet country lanes with great views, something for everyone. There is an easy traffic free cycle path from Caton that follows the river to Lancaster before continuing to Morecambe. Or for those more ambitious head over to the Yorkshire Dales where your climbing skills and descending can be put to the test.

Three Peaks - The Yorkshire 3 peaks are just a short drive away, tackle the hills of Penyghent, Whernside and Ingleborough individually or for the brave in one go!

Lake District - Just half hour drive away is the South Lakes, more walks than you can shake a stick at!

Yorkshire Dales - Just 15 minute drive and you are in the Yorkshire Dales, more walks than you can shake two sticks at!
